A great new website has launched to assist all Service personnel, including their partners, families and dependants, to be better equipped to handle their money and financial affairs.
On the www.moneyforce.org.uk site there are tools and advice on topics such as dealing with debt, investments and loans. Moneyforce is a joint initiative between Standard Life Charitable Trust, The Royal British Legion and the Ministry of Defence.
The mobility and overseas deployment of Armed Forces personnel can affect credit ratings and impede access to financial services and products. In addition, the institutional nature of Armed Forces life can lead many to have a poor understanding of financial concerns and pressures. The website aims to address these issues and to allow Service personnel to take control of their finances whether in Service or when they return to Civvy Street.
