Finance for Non-Financial Managers
This is a widely recognised course which will provide Service leavers with an understanding of the tools and terminology used within financial management, for those who require an overview of finance to perform in any management role.
The 2 day course will cover the various key management reports and will discuss issues such as depreciation, shares and liquidity. Budgeting and forecasting principles and cash and revenue forecasting will be covered as well as capital investments, cashflow and break even for output and revenue.
This course is ideal for any Service leaver applying to a non-financial management position in the commercial sector in order to gain an insight into the various financial aspects of the business. The knowledge gained will ensure the individual is competent to discuss budgets and financial information and understand the financial terminology discussed within the management team. Accounting in a Small Business
This 5 day contract funded course is invaluable for any Service leaver considering self-employment. This short course will give you a commercial understanding of the key aspects of accounting, tax and financial management which will affect a small business. This is a practical course delivered by a highly knowledgeable instructor with a wealth of information and advice to ensure you are prepared and aware of your financial requirements when setting up and running a business.
