LEAVING REGULAR SERVICE & SETTLING IN THE SOUTHWEST?
505 Squadron RAF Reserves are based at RAF St Mawgan, Cornwall and support the RAF with specialist trade skills. They recruit personnel from across the South West in a variety of roles including:
- TG6 - Mechanical Transport Driver
- TG11 - Intelligence Analyst
- TG17 - Personnel Support
- TG18 - Logistics Supplier
- TG19 - Logistics Chef
There are also roles for qualified, experienced ex-Regular staff from:
- TG4 - Information and Communication Technology Technician
- TG5 - General Technician Electrical, General Technician Mechanical
- TG10 - Physical Training Instructor
In addition to a pool of SMEs with niche skills.
Reservists at 505 Sqn work and train in their spare time, committing anywhere between 15-180 days per year to support the wider RAF. 505 Sqn have personnel deployed on operations across the globe; as well as working throughout the UK.
505 Sqn are currently recruiting experienced NCOs and have vacancies across all trades.
