“Building Control is a fantastic sector of the construction industry to work in. Having spent part of my career in the Armed Forces I can think of no other civilian role which utilises the transferable skills and qualities of Service leavers more than that of a Building Control Surveyor. You’ll deal with a greater range of construction projects than you would if in any other role, and see through projects from concept to completion.” - Simon Heywood, Managing Director
