This course is aimed at current or aspiring warehouse and distribution supervisors/team leaders. The course is designed to provide aspiring or junior managers or supervisors with an introduction to commercial warehouse supervision and health and safety within the industry. Successful candidates will achieve two level 3 certificates (one each from CILT and CIEH detailed below) and it will be delivered over a period of 10 days.
Level 3 CILT Award in Warehousing
- Managing Warehouse Receiving and Storing Operations
- Managing Order Picking and Despatching Goods
- Managing the Provision and Care of Warehouse Resources.
This part of the course will be assessed by assignment.
Level 3 CIEH Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace
- Introduction to health and safety
- Legislation
- Accidents in the workplace
- Ill health in the workplace
- Health and safety organisation and Management
- The role of supervisors.
This part of the course will be assessed by multiple choice examination.
- Level 3 CILT Award in Warehousing
- Level 3 CIEH Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace.
