Aim of the Course 
This course has been designed to build on the skills and knowledge of Service leavers in preparation for high level management and executive positions in the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. This course will focus on the personal attributes, competencies and qualities required at board level of executives, non executives and trustees that will enable them to meet the demands of the organisation, its key stakeholders and the relevant international standards related to good governance.

  • Financial Management for senior managers
  • Marketing to survive – and to win!
  • The role of the executive in non-profit making organisations.

Qualifications Awarded 
The course provides an introduction to the expectations of an organisation recruiting at board level – it does not offer a recognised qualification.

There continues to be a significant number of executive and non-executive board-level opportunities in the public and private sectors in the UK – but it is getting increasingly competitive!

If this is not possible or the alternative(s) is/are not acceptable to the Service leaver, Right Management, who deliver all non-contract courses listed, may refund in full the total amount paid to date for non-contract funded courses, or, in the case of MOD Contract Funded courses, in agreement with the MOD, the Service leavers IRTC grant will not be notionally reduced.
