This course is designed for all those in supervisory or managerial positions who need a broad understanding of the principles and practice of Health and Safety matters in the workplace.

- Understanding your responsibilities
- Identifying hazards
- Investigating accidents and incidents
- Measuring performance
- Protecting our environment
Successful students will receive the “Certificate in Managing Safely” of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health [IOSH].
This basic qualification is ideally suited for a range of management positions, which carry an oversight of Health and Safety responsibilities. Therefore the positions for which this qualification is useful are very numerous and range throughout the UK.

Every effort will be made to give the Service leaver as much notice as possible and a reasonable course alternative or alternatives may be suggested, if possible. If this is not possible or the alternative(s) is/are not acceptable to the Service leaver, Right Management, who deliver all non-contract courses listed, may refund in full the total amount paid to date for non-contract funded courses, or, in the case of MOD Contract Funded courses, in agreement with the MOD, the Service leavers IRTC grant will not be notionally reduced.
