Scottish Veterans Residence (SVR) - Housing and Care for Veterans
The Scottish Veterans Residence (SVR) are delighted to announce the opening of their Glasgow Centre, called Bellrock Close. This facility complements its sister outlets in Edinburgh and Dundee.
These facilities offer fantastic on site facilities including IT suites, gymnasiums, common rooms with full BT & Sky Packages, coffee shops and much more. There are excellent levels of well qualified staff including Registered Managers and tremendous experience in providing both transitional and longer term support. Alongside all of that, they have professionally qualified and accredited counsellors.

SVR works very closely with other agencies including Combat Stress, Veterans First Point, The Veterans Welfare Service, SSAFA, PoppyScotland and many others to access a wide range of funding and resources that are available to assist veterans to overcome barriers. The offer access to excellent training, volunteering and employment opportunities through on-site support from the Royal Voluntary Service and Walking with the Wounded funded employment mentors.

If you are a veteran wanting to live in Scotland and in need of short to medium term support to overcome issues and transition back into mainstream accommodation, this organisation is ready and willing to help you. It can also provide for those veterans requiring longer term support. More information and contact numbers can be found on our website.

The facilities are primarily open to veterans of the Armed Forces who have served at least 1 day but they can consider non-veteran applications if they have spare capacity and can meet the support needs.
