Important Information Regarding Diving Training Courses Overseas
In December 2011 the Ministry of Defence (MOD) took the decision to suspend all approved learning providers who were offering diving training overseas due to Health & Safety concerns.

As part of an on-going review, the MOD Superintendent of Diving examines technical and safety performance data received from overseas diving training providers. This is to establish a list of such companies authorised to conduct diving training with eligible current and former MOD personnel under the ELC/Resettlement schemes. To date, the following overseas provider has been cleared to accept these personnel on ELC/Resettlement activity:

  • Dive-in Cyprus ELC No 1510

Applications from personnel to attend diving training with the companies stated above can now be accepted. Single Service ELC/Resettlement Points of Contact should be consulted during all stages of the application process. Notification of other overseas diving companies receiving MOD approval will be posted on this website as soon as further approvals are given.
