Check out the new and improved myPlan
myPlan is your personal area of the CTP website and can help you stay organised and in control throughout your resettlement journey. When you next login to the site, you may notice that things look a little different.

Since its launch just over two years ago, we’re delighted that the site has proved a popular tool for Service leavers, enabling you to manage your own resettlement and career transition activities, and we’ve now added even more great features along with a fresh new look. Here’s what you’ll find...

Cobra
Cobra is a key source of information and advice for those considering starting up a business in the UK. From writing a business plan to expanding an existing business, Cobra contains around 4,000 fact sheets, market reports, contacts, and sources of funding and support.

CTP Video Library
This new library contains over 500 video clips providing advice for your career change and job search. These videos give you the latest views from the people who matter - employers!

Career Assessment Activities
You may have already completed this section of the website, but if you have yet to do so, take a look at the new and improved format of these activities.

Spending some time going through the various activities will enable you to establish what you want from and what you can offer to potential employers, and to collate information and evidence about your past achievements, strengths and drivers, enabling you to market yourself confidently and complete a strong CV or application form.

The activities are:

What matters most to you?
Values and Drivers
Time to consider...
Thought Provoking Statements
Finding job satisfaction
Define your Interests, Skills and Strengths
Your track record
Review Your Key Achievements

Understanding what motivates and drives you in both your working and private lives will help you to make key decisions about your future.  Completing a number of thought provoking statements will be enable you to start thinking about your resettlement aims and objectives, and identify areas of key importance to you.  Examining your interests and skills will help you to identify overlaps between the two; these are your strengths and are what makes you the perfect candidate for potential employers. Revisiting your past achievements will not only help you to articulate your transferrable skills to potential employers, but will also provide insight into your future potential, and highlight areas in which you can succeed.

When you have completed these Career Assessment activities you may wish to discuss your reports with your Career Consultant.
