CTP Training are pleased to launch a new course within our Project Management training portfolio Most people hearing the word ‘Scrum’ will think of Rugby, and this is where the concept comes from. Scrum is an agile framework where a Scrum Master facilitates and coaches a team with specific roles, regular meetings and structure towards a common goal.

The team works in short ‘sprints’, breaking down complex projects with regular discussion to feedback and reflect on progress. The benefits of working in this way include lower costs, higher productivity, quicker release of products to users and consumers, and boosted employee morale.

The Scrum Master supports team members, removes any blockers to their progress, and oversees project tasks towards the ultimate end goal.

Who should be interested?

Our 2-day course is suitable for anyone working in or with IT development teams, as well as manufacturing and engineering teams who have adopted Scrum as a form of agile project management.

We’ll be delivering our Scrum Alliance ‘Certified ScrumMaster®’ Training from 24th July 2023, through virtual classroom and occasional face to face sessions at Catterick and RTC Aldershot. You can find a full outline of the course here.

The training costs £998.04 and is ELCAS approved, making it an ideal add-on for those completing other courses such as Agile, Prince2 or PMQ.

Employment opportunities
