University of Exeter The University of Exeter is a proud supporter of the Armed Forces Covenant having signed the pledge in 2019. Our commitment to Service leavers who work or study as part of our community was recognised by an Employer Recognition Scheme Silver award in 2022.

We currently employ over 7000 staff (academics and professional services) and have over 30,000 students across our three main campuses in Devon and Cornwall. We offer a diverse and engaging environment where all members of our community are supported to thrive, including ex-military personnel.

To promote wider understanding of our armed forces community, we’ve embedded training on the Armed Forces Covenant and the needs of Service leavers into our mandatory and pastoral mentor training, to give you the best start with us.
