We’re committed to a competency-based approach to training that means you’ll not just be providing information, but also really testing your students’ understanding. Ultimately, training needs to be as interactive and engaging as possible, and it will be part of your job to ensure this is the case at all times.
Being a trainer at VSC can be a busy role, but you’ll have plenty of support. We’re looking for someone with 4 years of military experience who can communicate well, is competent with IT and has a real desire to help people learn. You’ll need to be enthusiastic, patient and committed to helping a wide variety of people along their learning journey. The role is varied and you’ll be delivering training to humanitarian and commercial organisations, as well as the VSC teams.
Ideally, you would already possess a level 3 qualification in education and training, but if not, we will of course fund this accreditation for you.
The role is open to experienced personnel or the right person seeking a route into the security industry. A key part of VSC’s strategy is growing our training business, and so there are likely to be real opportunities for ongoing career development and advancement.
