About Made Tech
We were founded in 2012, initially helping start-ups to build products based on lean and agile principles. Since 2016, we’ve been working with teams in the healthcare, education, housing, and transport sectors (to name just a few), to deliver services that meet the needs of millions of service users across the UK.
We help teams modernise legacy systems and gain insights from data that helps to drive better decision-making. We build strong and lasting relationships with the organisations we work with, and give them the tools to maintain and build on their success once we’re gone.
We also give our teams the space to learn and grow, so they can deliver maximum value to the organisations we work with.
About Our Academies
We’ve been running our Academies since 2017 and are excited to share that in 2023 we’ll be running Academies for 3 different areas of our business: Software Engineering, Data Engineering, and Design & User Research.
Our Academies are 12-week long programmes that give you both the technical and consultancy foundational skills to work with clients in a fast-paced environment. Once your 12-week programme is complete, you’ll go on to work with our clients on projects that really matter.
From day one of joining the Academy and Made Tech, you’ll receive a full-time salary to ensure you earn while you learn.
All Academies are remote, but with regular socials in London, Manchester, Bristol and South Wales; giving you the opportunity to spend time with each other face-to-face.
What we’re looking for
We want to hear from people from all backgrounds, and aren’t looking for specific experience or education. Whether it’s your first job, a career change or you’re returning to work after some time out, we welcome everyone who possesses a genuine passion for improving lives with digital technology.

We’ve taken on some big projects over the years that have helped our teams to learn and grow while contributing to big, positive changes in public services; including our NHS Virtual Visits project and our replicable housing repairs service with Lincoln Council.

Starting Salary - Between £22,500 - £25,000 depending on your location.
After the first 6 months, you’ll then go to £27,750 - £29,137, depending on location and if you’ve passed probation.
