Join Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) as a Project Manager on our Military Transition Scheme for the chance to work across a diverse and fascinating portfolio of equipment - vital to UK Defence.

As the procurement arm of the Ministry of Defence, it takes a wide range of expertise to enable us to provide our military personnel with everything they need to be the best they can be. We’re currently working with CTP and the Cabinet Office as part of the Going Forward into Employment (GFiE) scheme, to hire Service leavers for Project Manager positions.

Here, you’ll play an important role in delivering key outputs on a variety of projects that support our Armed Forces and help keep them safe; drawing on your military background to understand our customers’ requirements, while using your leadership and people skills to motivate and encourage the wider team.

You’ll join us on a fixed-term contract of up to 23 months, without the need for a formal interview. As part of our team, we’ll empower you to achieve your goals and offer progressive training and support which will help you unlock a highly successful and rewarding civilian career. Then, in your second year with us, we’ll support you to apply for a permanent role with us too!
