Our Values

To become a Support Worker with Havencare, you don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications. We operate on a values-based recruitment drive where look for people who share our values of:

Transparency “Trust is built on telling the truth’’
Engagement “Treat people like they make a difference, and they will’’
Quality “Don’t just do it, do it well’’

As a Service leaver, we value the many skills and attributes you can bring to our business, including problem-solving, resilience and the readiness to get stuck in!

Our Roles

We have Support Worker, Team Leader and Service Manager roles available right now, so there are a range of opportunities to suit the level you’d like to join us at.

We’re currently looking for Support Workers to join our team at St. Clare Hub in Penzance, Cornwall. For these roles, we have part-time hours available, offering between 20-30 hours per week per position.

Being a Support Worker isn’t just offering personal care. Supporting individuals in the community involves taking part in activities such as swimming, nature walk, shopping and supporting with daily tasks (this is dependent on the specific needs of each person being supported). So we’re looking for people who aren’t afraid to join in on the fun!

Want to manage a team but don’t want to be office-bound? Then one of our Team Leader roles might be right for you! We currently have an opportunity to become a Team Leader in one of our new services in Teignbridge, Devon, supporting a young man with a learning disability as he moves into his new home. We’re looking for someone who will lead this team with a forward-thinking approach and be a role model of outstanding support.

Looking for a more senior role? We’re also recruiting for a Service Manager to oversee a Supported Living Service in Leedstown, Hayle (Cornwall). We’re looking for someone with resilience, enthusiasm and a fun-loving nature. It’s integral that you continuously empower the people supported in the service, while simultaneously inspiring and engaging the wider team – ensuring that quality flows through everything your team does.
