Exciting roles on land and sea with The Royal NAAFI NAAFI has been providing services to personnel based in the UK and overseas for over 100 years. We manage over 20 different services from shops and pubs to catering, cleaning and laundry. We exist to improve the quality of life for our Forces communities around the world, and all of our surpluses are given back to the British Armed Forces via direct welfare contributions, through the NAAFI Fund or investment in enhancing our facilities.

We have multiple roles available across the globe from catering, retail, and soft facilities management, to working onboard Royal Navy ships! These opportunities range from job entry level roles to senior management roles.

We have multiple roles available across the globe:
  • Global Mobile Operations Manager – a rotational role working across multiple global locations.

Unaccompanied roles:
  • Site Supervisor roles in: Poland, Germany, Bahrain and UAE
  • Global Mobile Customer Service roles in: Estonia, RN Ships, Germany

As a result of our ongoing expansion, new roles become available very regularly, particularly in our global management team and our HQ in Whiteley. We offer competitive (and often tax-free) salaries, as well as single accommodation in many locations.

What do these roles involve?

Our job entry roles on RN ships vary from retail, hospitality, kitchen portering and laundry. This role includes global travel and working in alternative overseas locations when not deployed, or on a rotational basis.

Who would they be suitable for?

Anyone who’s interested in travel or in building their CV, as well as those who want time to decide where they’d like to settle and what their next career path might be.

What skills/qualities/qualifications are required?

In our job entry roles, full training is provided and no experience is necessary. In our overseas supervisory and management roles, it depends on the service being provided. More information is available on request.

Why should a Service leaver consider applying?

The Royal NAAFI provides a half-way-house for Service leavers - a safe space where they can build their civilian CV while remaining in the armed forces community. We understand the jargon and the life of our veterans and their families, many of us here having lived that experience ourselves. We also recognise that when a Service leaver leaves the forces, it can cause upheaval for their entire family, which is why our vacancies are opened up to Service leavers’ family members as well.
