We’ve recently launched our first Management Consultancy Apprenticeship scheme with a focus on helping Service leavers who are looking for a new challenge as they transition from military life. This will be an 18-month structured programme, with learning pathways that combine the formal training from our Apprenticeship provider with our internal development programme. You’ll also have the opportunity to be coached / mentored by fellow Service leavers who have already made the transition to a career in consulting.

You’ll typically find yourself working as part of a team on a range of engagements for various clients across different industries. You’ll gain client exposure and experience across: Project Management, PMO, Business Analysis, Change Management, Data Science and Analytics. All of which can help you identify what you’re passionate about and form the basis of your future career aspirations. We care deeply about being inclusive and encourage applications from a diverse group of backgrounds and experiences.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be involved in:

• Scoping and gathering requirements,
• Planning and delivery of projects
• Understanding, and documenting business requirements,
• Compiling business cases and documentation as part of the handover to live operational teams.
• Acting as part of a team in more complex programmes while you learn your craft
• Transition to running potential workstreams and projects as your skills develop
• Understanding how the different capabilities fit into and contribute to the projects and teams you are working with.

For the Data Opportunities, you’ll also be able to:

• Develop your coding skills in languages like SQL, Python, R, Java and others
• Process and analyse large date sets
• Support the design and delivery of Cloud Architecture solutions
• Help clients understand
o how to improve Cyber security through changing human behaviour
o how data is important and the strategy to realise the benefits of their data
