Jaguar Land Rover set to invest £40m in latest phase of Midlands expansion Vehicle manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has been revealed as the name behind new plans for a £40m development in Staffordshire, investing in a new vehicle storage facility on a 52-acre site at Stone Business Park. The massive new development will provide secure storage facilities for 6,500 vehicles and is expected to create around 75 jobs.

Birmingham-based Stoford Developments, who will be delivering the new facility, have now unveiled the plans for the site. Stoford director Tony Nash said:

“This development will bring significant inward investment into the county and will represent a major commitment to the region by Jaguar Land Rover, one of the world’s leading luxury car makers.

“The 52-acre site will primarily act as a new vehicle distribution centre accommodating up to 6,500 vehicles. It will provide the manufacturer with a high quality national delivery hub in a central location with excellent links to the motorway network. A highly secure site, it will also be very well landscaped to limit the impact on the surrounding area as much as possible.”
