Category: Job Finding Publish date: 04/05/2023

Technical Field Service (Fire and Security) and Electrical Careers in the West of England with BWS Standfast Since 1988, our specialist skills, professional approach and dedication to quality have enabled BWS Standfast to become the largest local independent fire and security company in the Bath Area.

We operate across the whole of the South-West as well as further afield through third-party partnerships, installing and maintaining Intruder Alarms, CCTV systems, Access Control systems and Fire Alarms.

We’re actively recruiting with CTP at the moment, and would welcome applications from the military community for the following two roles:

  • Fire & Security Service Engineers
  • Electricians

Why should a Service leaver consider applying?

  • Excellent financial rewards.
  • Varied, interesting day-to-day responsibilities.
  • We are privately owned – so you won’t be ‘just a number’.
  • Fast growing company with lots of progression opportunities available.
  • Stable, resilient industry with long-term growth drivers.

As part of a critical maintenance industry that safeguards commercial and domestic premises, and in the case of fire safety, protects lives, we need people who are used to working under such rigorous conditions. Which is why Service leavers are such an excellent fit for our organisation.

Additionally, the field technician role involves being out in the field - seeing customers, diagnosing and fixing problems with their systems, working with tools and ensuring efficiencies are maintained on a daily basis. Therefore, the discipline within the military is something that would be highly valued in our demanding and critically important industry.
