Serco are currently recruiting for HGV Mechanics in the following areas:
Basingstoke – RG24
Richmond – TW2
Mid Suffolk/Barbergh – CO10
Aylsham – NR11
Chiltern – HP7
We are keen to hear from candidates that are leaving/have already left the Armed Forces, with mechanical backgrounds, to maintain our fleet of HGV 2 trucks on our vital Environmental Services contracts.
Working in a friendly and professional team, you will provide essential maintenance within our commercial vehicle workshop environments with fleets of approx. 90 vehicles.
The successful applicant must display strong mechanical skills & have previous experience of maintaining any kinds of vehicles, even tanks! We can provide any training you may need to adapt your skills.
Essential skills and experience
- Electrical Fault-Finding experience
- Hydraulic repair experience
- Experience in maintenance of armed forces vehicles
- Good communication skills
- Be willing to undertake any necessary training and available to work full time.
