LifeScape are an award-winning social enterprise, working to transform lives in the North West of England. LifeScape support a number of voluntary organisations in the North West, such as the Princes Trust programme which helps 16–22-year-olds who are unemployed and struggling to find work, and other initiatives that target hard to reach groups e.g. More Positive Together (MPT) - a Lancashire-wide European Social Fund project which aims to improve skills and prospects for participants who "Aspire to Work". They also offer curriculum support to schools, with contractors sharing knowledge and expertise about their discipline, including Blackpool and Fylde College from where their Director Warren Kozera is a proud graduate.
Working across the North West, LifeScape provide soft and hard landscaping, grounds maintenance, tree work and associated services such as building-clearance. They operate from their company premises at Whitestake, Preston.
Opportunities
LifeScape are currently seeking individuals with an interest in gardening and working outdoors for Landscaping Operative roles, undertaking hard and soft landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks such as:
Mowing, strimming and edging grassed areas
Pruning and trimming shrubbery and hedges
Weeding and planting flowerbeds
Leaf and litter clearance
Turfing
Flagging
Fencing
These roles are perfect for you if an office job is not your thing, and you want to keep your evenings and weekends free. Opportunities exist to progress in time to Team Leader level.
