East Midlands Trains are pleased to be able to offer a unique opportunity to spend 20 days with our award winning Customer Experience team. We’re looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, positive and passionate about ensuring our customers have a great experience travelling with us from entering our stations, travelling on our trains and arriving safely at their destination.

As part of the Train into Work Programme, you will spend time working with our team of staff who strive to give our Customers a great experience every day. You will work with the following teams whilst on placement with us:

• Travel Advisors
• Passenger Assist
• On Train Team
• Customer Information Desk / Customer Welcome Host Team

The Train into Work Programme has been specifically designed to give a broad experience of working life for people wanting to pursue a career in Customer Service. As part of the program we will work with you to:

• Build your confidence
• Develop your customer service skills
• Help you learn about the railway and railway health and safety
• Build you develop your team working skills
• Help you realise their future career aspirations through developing your interview skills
