Come and join AAT Veronica Wagner – In House Recruiter at AAT

As the proud daughter of a veteran, I know about the challenges finding employment at the end of your service. Many of the skills and experience that you have gained during your service will transfer well into our roles at AAT, such as teamwork, commitment and a readiness to take responsibility. If you see any vacancies that you are interested in, but you are not sure if your background is a fit or if you have any questions about the recruitment process, then please do give me a call.

About AAT

AAT is the world’s leading professional body for accounting technicians.

We work across the globe with around 130,000 members in more than 100 countries. Our members are represented at every level of the finance and accounting world, including students, people already working in accountancy and self-employed business owners.

AAT members are ambitious, focused accounting professionals, many occupying senior, well rewarded positions with thousands of employers – from blue-chip corporate giants to public sector institutions.

What kind of roles do we recruit for?

Customer service runs through everything that we do at AAT and we regularly recruit for Customer Service Advisor positions. These roles typically involve communicating with our students, members and employers over the phone or via email, making sure they receive the best possible customer experience. We also recruit for more specialist roles in Marketing, Policy, IT and all across the business. Knowledge of accounting is not necessary for most roles at AAT, what is usually more important is your attitude towards customer service and other transferrable skills or knowledge.

Why work for us?

We’re proud of our achievements over the last couple of years, including winning a Sunday Times best companies award in 2017 and also receiving the ‘Employer Newcomer of the Year’ award by the City of London’s ‘The Brokerage’ for our work with our first intake of summer interns. This reflects what it is like to work at AAT, and demonstrates our commitment to being an inclusive and welcoming place to work. At AAT, we are also committed to investing in our staff. We support, develop and encourage our people . We believe in equality in the workplace, we have signed up to the women in finance charter and the employers network for equality and inclusion. We would love for you to come and help us to make AAT an even better place to work.

Benefits that we offer

We have a pretty good medical cover (includes things like dental and optical expenses), fresh fruit, company pension contributions. We have a generous annual leave entitlement in addition to statutory bank holidays and two discretionary days over Christmas. We offer enhanced maternity, paternity and shared parental pay.
