We can arrange for a one-day, no obligation "work shadow" where you spend a whole day working alongside one of our trainers or experienced drivers, to see what it’s really like to work here and drive a lorry for a living.

Key Responsibilities
- Completing daily vehicle checks in line with the company procedure to ensure they are roadworthy
- Reporting vehicle defects immediately in line with company procedure
- Assisting with loading and unloading company vehicles
- Reporting any customer complaints to the Transport team
- Complying with all current EU road transport regulations
- Ensuring the freight is secure for transit on the vehicle and not overloaded by weight or capacity
- Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and presentable
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Holds a valid HGV LGV Class 1 licence
- Holds a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
- Holds a Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on your licence
