Network Rail Careers

16
May

Location: Online

Time: 10:00 - 11:00

Network Rail owns, operates, and develops the railway infrastructure (stations, track, bridges, level crossings) in England, Scotland, and Wales.

We employ around 40,000 people in over 300 different roles within our main functions of operations:
  • Infrastructure and Maintenance
  • Stations
  • Operations
  • Business support

We have roles ranging from finance, project management through to helping our passengers in stations or signalling trains and incident management. Some our roles are shift based and our infrastructure and maintenance tend to work at night and weekends when the network isn't busy.

We are proud to support our armed forces community and have held the gold award for engagement since 2017. In 2022, we launched our armed forces employee network. You already have gained the key skills we look for – teamwork, problem solving, resilience, working under pressure and great working attitude. We will have a role that matches your skills and experience. We have an active armed forces employee network and currently developing a mentoring programme to support members of the armed forces community who join Network Rail.
