As a serving or retired member of the Armed Forces, you have a wealth of experience and skills and are used to carrying out a vitally important role, but have you thought about entering the policing sphere as a warranted police officer and Authorised Firearms Officer (AFO)?
Discover how the Civil Nuclear Constabulary provides 24/7 armed response: patrolling and protecting Sellafield nuclear site, facilities and materials, as well as patrolling in the local communities and working with local Home Office Police Forces. We also play a key role in the Strategic Armed Policing Reserve and have been deployed across the country as part of Operation Temperer in response to terrorist attacks.
