How to Apply

All of our vacancies are advertised on our website and on RightJob however we may use other job boards and agencies to advertise our vacancies too.

On the careers section of our website we display our ‘current vacancies’ which includes a brief overview of the role, location and minimum requirements. We also attach the job description and person specification to give you more information. We spend a lot of time developing these documents to ensure we find the right person for the job the first time. The person specification is particularly important in our process as we use this information to score CVs against specific criteria and again during the interview process to ensure we have the right behavioural matches, this then goes on to show competence in our recruitment process. It is very important this document is read and understood, if you meet the essential criteria we want to meet you so please ensure this is reflected in your CV. Take your time and amend your CV to reflect the skills you have that we are looking for.

You will be expected to fill out an online application form and include your CV, much of the information from your CV is used to autofill the application form, and we will require the following information so make sure you have it to hand:

  • Contact info
  • Cover letter/personal statement
  • Employment history
  • Education
  • Skills
  • References
  • Equal ops
  • Disclosing convictions
  • Declaration – permission for personal information to be stored and processed

Make sure your CV has the relevant information on and that you have checked it thoroughly for spelling and grammar errors, this is your first chance to impress!

On our website you can also ‘register your interest’ this way your details are held on our database and this is our first point of call when recruiting for new vacancies. If your RightJob profile reflects your skills and interests then the CTP will also notify you of suitable vacancies when we advertise them.
