What did you do in the military?/What was your last role in the Military?
I was in the WRAC, my final role was attached to the Royal Signals as a Data Telegraphist.
Why did you apply to Amazon?
I did not come directly to Amazon. I went to University, worked as a Product Development Technician, a Science Technician, and an IT Technician before joining Amazon.
What role are you doing?
I am an IT Support Engineer.
How did you find the recruitment process? Any advice for candidates?
Be yourself, enjoy the process, do not be afraid to ask questions and remember recruitment is a two-way process.
What have you learnt in your time at Amazon?
Amazon has helped me build my confidence in my ability to do complex tasks and take on large-scale projects, a skill I first learned while in the military.
What has been the biggest difference between the Military & Amazon?
They are quite similar in how they have developed my confidence and ability. Thankfully, we do not need to do any marching in Amazon!
