Service leavers make up around ten percent of our workforce in prisons.
In 2018, 3% of all Service leavers who enrolled for CTP went on to start a career as a prison officer.
Over three quarters of Service leavers pass our prison officer assessment process (compared to just over half of non-Service leavers).

This valuable employee population is growing as we continue to recruit Service leavers into both operational and non-operational prison roles.
