When you know what sector or type of role you interested in after transitioning out of the forces, it’s great to invest some time into reading specialist articles, listening to relevant podcasts and speaking with people in the sector. The more you can learn now, the easier it is when you are starting your job search. If there are any industry specific qualifications, if you have the funding/time to complete, this will give you a real head start when looking to secure a new role.
