Building our ex-military community
As part of our commitment to the Armed Forces, we’re developing our ex-military community to share knowledge, offer support and raise awareness across the company. We actively promote the recruitment of reservists and ex-service personnel within local Capita businesses and support people with their transition if they’re starting a civilian job.
We always try to offer flexibility for Service partners before, during and after a partner’s deployment, and we try to support Service partners and veterans with employment where our operations either have a Service focus or are close to an MoD location. We’re championing fundraising for Armed Forces charities and taking part in awareness days like Remembrance Day and Armed Forces Day.
We’re also supporting our employees who choose to be part of the Volunteer Reservist Forces (VRF) with up to 10 days’ paid special leave each year for training.
