Is this the right course for me?
If you have managerial decision-making responsibility in a current or previous logistics role and would like to work as a senior manager within the commercial logistics sector then this course has been designed with you in mind. The course is highly intensive and you should be numerate and literate to at least level 2 with the ability to work hard to achieve results.Qualifications
CILT Level 5 Professional Diploma in Logistics & TransportEligibility
There are no formal entry requirements, but, due to the intense academic nature of the course Service leavers should be numerate and literate to level 2 (GCSE A-C) and have extensive experience of supervisory or first line management in a stores/logistics environment for this Level 5 qualification.Course Content
There is a requirement for pre-course self-research and detail of this is provided within the Joining Instructions.
There will be 4 units of study covering:
Module 1
1. Management in Logistics and Transport
2. Retail Logistics
Module 2
3. Supply Chain Management
4. Project Management
Assessment for this qualification is by written assignment which is then internally verified prior to submission to CILT. Mentoring is available during the course and in the break between modules to ensure that you gain maximum support.
CILT Membership can be obtained at a reduced rate, and is recommended to apply for full membership once qualified.
Career Opportunities
