Certified Scrum Product Owner

The Product Owner role is the focus of the Certified Scrum Product Owner course and it is oriented towards people who will be taking over this role, but it is equally good for beginners, those working in non-software Scrum and Agile roles and for managers and executives who interact with Scrum teams, who want to learn the language and to understand the framework.

Training will include key skills and tools to be an effective Product Owner, from creating a product vision, preparing a product backlog with user story mapping and reporting to all stakeholders.

It’s part of the agile movement and although originally focused on software development teams, Scrum is now also used worldwide in many different areas including marketing, product development and change projects.

The Certified Scrum Product Owner course is suitable for beginners to Scrum but it would be useful to have some knowledge of Agile. This could be through online reading or videos in advance of the course.

There are no specific eligibility requirements for attending this course but it is essential that attendees complete the pre work to gain some foundation knowledge prior to the course.
