Why take this course?

The Product Owner role is the focus of the Certified Scrum Product Owner course and it is oriented towards people who will be taking over this role, but it is equally good for beginners, those working in non-software Scrum and Agile roles and for managers and executives who interact with Scrum teams, who want to learn the language and to understand the framework.

Training will include key skills and tools to be an effective Product Owner, from creating a product vision, preparing a product backlog with user story mapping and reporting to all stakeholders.

Is this the right course for me?

Scrum is the leading way for teams doing knowledge-based work to organise themselves.

It’s part of the agile movement and although originally focused on software development teams, Scrum is now also used worldwide in many different areas including marketing, product development and change projects.

If you are considering a future role as a Scrum Product Owner or if your future role will involve leading or working within teams, particularly within an agile working environment, this training will be beneficial.

This training is suitable for:

  • Beginners who may be new to Agile/Scrum.
  • Those currently working in software or non-software Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Established Agile/Scrum practitioners looking to formalise their experience or seeking to take on a Product Owner role.
