The Self-Employment Awareness Workshop is operated by X-Forces Enterprise on behalf of the Career Transition Partnership.
The aim of the workshop is to:
• Explore self-employment as an option for resettlement and to look at what you need to consider if you want to explore this further.
• Working both as a group and individually, you will gain an awareness of what starting up a business means; to you, your family, and your finances.
• We will discuss the pros and cons of self-employment and look at how to begin planning the launch of a successful business.
X-Forces Enterprise will provide ongoing support to those who choose to pursue self-employment, providing access to their Knowledge Exchange Hub as you start-up and in the early years of your business.
By the end of the one-day workshop you will have a better idea of what starting a business entails and will have a clear understanding of what support is on offer, so you can plan your next steps.
