Attend this course to gain the necessary qualification for a Front Line SIA Licence, enabling you to work in commercial Security Supervision. During the course you'll complete a site survey enabling you to gain a working knowledge of commercial procedures. This will assist you at interview and in the first few weeks of your new role.

NOCN Level 2 Award in Door Supervision

Eligibility

The course is open to all Service personnel and has no pre-requisites. Depending on the role you are going into you should have a reasonable level of physical fitness.  In the case of having a criminal conviction, it is the individual's responsibility to ensure that you are eligible to apply for an SIA licence; for further information on this please click here.

Course Content

Delivered over 10 days, this course enables attendees to gain a working knowledge of commercial procedures in the security industry. It covers the following topics: 

  • Introduction to the Private Security Industry
  • SIA Approved Course in Door Supervision/Static Guarding - This allows successful candidates to apply for a Frontline SIA Licence to work in Door Supervision, Static Guarding, Retail Guarding, Event Security and management in all other industry sectors. *Additional payment is required to the licencing authority*
