With a huge skills shortage, and growing demand for Cloud Computing skills in the likes of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Dev Ops, Office 365 and more, this one year access to hundreds of online training courses, video lectures, short quizzes and guided hands-on labs will provide you with the knowledge and skills to move into a new role within Cloud Computing.

Training pathways will ensure you keep on track and you will be fully supported with advice on training when needed, along with the ability to purchase exam vouchers at any point.

Cloud Academy, delivered in association with QA Ltd,  is suitable for any Service leaver with an interest in understanding more about cloud computing with introductory pathways starting at a foundation level.

Equally Cloud Academy is also suitable for those with intermediate or advanced cloud computing skills, who want to gain skills across platforms or add to their existing knowledge. Cloud Academy adds to its training portfolio on a weekly basis with updates and additional training resources to ensure the latest courses are available to all. 

Those new to Cloud will be recommended to complete the initial Foundation Cloud Literacy learning pathway to give a solid overview on cloud computing, but you can choose your own courses or select from existing pathways, and all CTP Cloud Academy users will be provided with a contact to seek advice on suggested next steps for training. 

CTP Cloud Academy users can choose training by Job role specific training pathways (for example Cloud Architect, Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer) or by categories of training.

The platform will show learning pathways, individual courses, practice exams aligned closely to vendor certification exams, hands on labs and lab challenges.

CTP Cloud Academy will assess your current skill level, help you develop skills through learning paths. You can then validate your knowledge through online exams to test your knowledge, and also prepare for vendor exams.

Users can complete any available training courses on the platform, however the Foundation Cloud Literacy pathway will be assigned initially. This is ideal to give a solid foundation for the basics of cloud computing.

Organisations such as AWS feel that Service leavers are ideally suited to cloud computing roles due to their wide skill set, strong analytical skills and an innovative mind-set. AWS run a number of schemes throughout the year and are keen to recruit Service leavers for roles such as Solutions Architects.
