This course is ideal for those who have previously completed a CIPD Level 3 Certificate or equivalent qualification, and are planning to become an Associate member of CIPD. Eligibility
This qualification is Level 5 and is ideal for those that seek to develop a career in HR management. It is also ideal for those who are already working in the field of HR management and need to fill gaps in their skill sets or already have a Level 3 qualification and wish to step up a level to extend their knowledge and skills.
As this is a Level 5 qualification candidates should ideally hold a level 3 CIPD qualification (or alternative Level 3) or have the appropriate work related experience in Human Resources operating at a Leadership/Management level.
Candidates should have good written, numerical and verbal communication skills to at least Level 2, supported by a good general education.

Course Content
There will be 3 core units and 4 specialist units as well as an additional unit. Units will be covered within 3 x two week classroom based modules and assessments must be completed for each unit
Core Units:
- Organisational performance and culture in practice
- Evidence-based practice
- Professional behaviours and valuing people
Specialist Units:
- Employment relationship management
- Talent management and workforce planning
- Reward for performance and contribution
Additional Unit:
- Specialist employment law
Significant out of hours work will be required.
Please note that in order to complete this course, all three modules must be booked together. Attendees must obtain student membership of CIPD prior to Day 1 of the course in order to be registered for the qualification and gain access to study resources and online communities and conferences.
