Why take this course?

Many companies are now moving away from traditional methods of project management - developing a product or IT system from start to finish - and are increasingly adopting an Agile approach. This approach means that products and systems are developed in increments so that they can be tested and amended at an early stage and are constantly reviewed by the project team and end user. This method saves time and money and ensures changes can be adapted throughout, rather than trying to implement changes or fix issues at the end of the project.

For those interested in Project Management, this course will provide an understanding of managing projects within an agile context and enable you to implement an agile project in the workplace.

The training is delivered in association with QA, using knowledgeable Instructors who will ensure attendees understand the theory and how to put this learning into practice in a commercial business situation.

Is this the right course for me?

This is an ideal course for any Service leaver who has experience in managing projects or who may have gained a recognised Project Management qualification.

It is also a valuable qualification for those involved within IT projects in roles such as Developer and Implementations Specialist.

Additionally, the course would be very relevant for Service leavers considering roles such as Business Analyst, Operations Manager or Quality Manager, or any other role with leadership or project management responsibilities, as it will provide an understanding of this agile method of approaching projects.

Agile ways of working are now moving beyond IT departments into other business areas such as HR, and so this would be a useful qualification for a wide variety of management roles.
