Aim of the Course 
For successful students to achieve the Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) Level 5 Certified Security Consultant qualification.

Course Content 

The Anubis CSC Course consists of 400 hours of Guided Learning over three Modules that must be completed within a maximum period of two years. The Modules are undertaken separately and for a committed student the full qualification can be completed over just a few months. Students who successfully complete the full CSC course can place the initials CSC after their name.

The Modules are split into three elements as follows: Module 1: 10 Days duration over two weeks - Risk Advisor activities including:
  • Security Threat & Risk Management
  • Security Survey & Audit
  • Security Awareness
  • Law & Legislation
  • Communication Methods
  • Information Gathering & Analysis
  • Project.
Module 2: Distance Learning
  • This module requires the candidate to conduct their own research and analysis in order to complete security risk management based assignments via distance learning. Each student is provided with support by an experienced appointed tutor.
Module 3: 10 Days duration over two weeks - Security Consultant/Risk Manager activities including:
  • Roles & Responsibilities
  • Organising the Security Function
  • Corporate Governance
  • Criminology & Crime Prevention
  • Physical Security
  • Emergency Planning
  • Business Continuity Management
  • Project Management
  • Emergency Evacuation Planning
  • Emergency Response Procedures
  • Journey Management
  • Continuing Professional Development
  • Project.

Qualifications Awarded 
Level 5 Certified Security Consultant Qualification that is accredited by Buckinghamshire New University, Skills for Security and the Institute of Risk Management.

Employment Opportunities 
In the private security industry there is a strong demand for operational security consultants particularly those with experience and formal training like the CSC qualification. All the major Security Risk Management Companies employ large numbers of Security Consultants, particularly those from an armed-services background therefore job opportunities are good.

Every effort will be made to give the Service leaver as much notice as possible and a reasonable course alternative or alternatives may be suggested, if possible. If this is not possible or the alternative(s) is/are not acceptable to the Service leaver, Right Management, who deliver all non-contract courses listed, may refund in full the total amount paid to date for non-contract funded courses, or, in the case of MOD Contract Funded courses, in agreement with the MOD, the Service leavers IRTC grant will not be notionally reduced.
