Jobs in Maritime - 'Connected' Events
An opportunity to access the latest advice, information and support about what is available from maritime trade associations and organisations.
Jobs in Maritime, a service of the National Maritime Development Group (NMDG), has been appointed as the chosen partner to maximise the marine employment potential being created from the Thames Tideway Tunnel.

The Thames Tideway Tunnel, known as the ‘super sewer’, is a 25km tunnel that will run underneath the River Thames to help tackle the current sewage pollution which spills in to the tidal river. Over its eight-year construction period, the project will create more than 4,300 direct jobs, plus another 5,000 jobs indirectly through the supply chain.

To ensure that the project creates a lasting legacy for the people of Britain and in particular maritime workers, Job in Maritime is seeking to inspire and engage communities and industry, to support future maritime sector growth.

Jobs in Maritime are hosting a series of four ‘Pop Up Connected ‘ maritime events to support those businesses and employees operating in the maritime sector, and new entrants interested in building a sustainable shore-side or seagoing career. An opportunity for all to access the latest advice, information and support about what is available from maritime trade associations and organisations.
