Barclays are offering Service leavers the opportunity of a placement within Business Banking, which provides integrated banking solutions to businesses with an annual turnover of between £250k and £5m in the UK, working with local companies, helping them to succeed and grow by providing lending, cash and liquidity management, trade finance, digital and sales financing solutions.
The two-week programme will provide individuals, with valuable insight into the role of a Barclays Business Manager.
Placements will give Service Leavers much needed commercial awareness within a world-class organisation;
- There are 140 placement opportunities available across the UK (excluding Northern Ireland)
- Service Leavers must still be serving in the military for the duration of the placement; start date for the work placements is 2nd June 2014
- Whilst there are employment prospects within Barclays, there is no guarantee of employment at the end of the work placement.
