Armed Forces Day is an annual national celebration to raise awareness, show support and celebrate the contribution of our servicemen and women, past and present.
X-Forces recognises the contributions of the Armed Forces community and their continued contribution post-Service. X-Forces supports Service leavers, veterans, spouses, families, reservists and cadets through the provision of business planning support and access to start up capital. Since June 2013 X-Forces have helped over 350 people into business. These businesses make a real difference within their local communities and the economy.
Our day is a mixture of showcasing successes, practical support and networking. It will begin at 10:30 with coffee and presentations. There will be workshops and networking opportunities in the afternoon. Come learn about how veterans and Service leavers have turned their skills and military training into business.
