With many companies moving towards an agile way of working, managers will benefit from understanding how to manage and implement projects in the workplace using Agile. This 5-day APMG accredited Agile Project Management Foundation & Practitioner qualification is suitable for all Service leavers who require an understanding of managing projects in an agile context.

The training will provide a practical methodology following the standards and processes of project management principles in an agile context, and this gives the flexibility to move or change pace by working in shorter increments to enable project teams to adapt quickly to changes.

Attendees will learn about Agile and the Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM) to be able to plan and control a project's life cycle.

The Practitioner element of the training will focus on putting the theory into practice so that attendees gain experience of all the areas involved in managing a project within an agile context.

Our Agile Project Management course is an ideal complement to our existing Project Management qualifications, PRINCE 2, PMQ, Lean Six Sigma and Management of Risk.

This training is perfect for those seeking a career in Project Management on leaving the Services. It is also relevant to a number of management roles, for example, Operations Management, Programme Management, Risk Management and Business Analytics, and is also ideal for those involved in IT projects or general project management positions.

There are currently over 30,000 job roles advertised on Adzuna (April 2018) requiring a knowledge of Agile principles and processes, and average salaries start at around £35 - £45k per annum.
