How we support Service leavers

At EDF we’re committed to diversity and inclusion. Being a member of The Armed Forces Covenant further strengthens this and we aim to continue with our pledge made in 2016 by engaging with the Forces community.

Our EDF Forces Supporters Network is open to all supporters of the Armed Forces, not just ex-military personnel. Its primary aim is to provide a mutually supporting network of former Armed Services personnel who now work, or are about to join EDF. This helps to maximises the contribution that their military experience brings to the company and highlights EDF as an employer of choice for Service leavers and their families.

Service leavers often have relevant skills that transfer well to the energy industry. We recruit many ex-forces personnel and reservists into our roles, and we’re proud of the supportive community for Services personnel and their families that exists within EDF.
