Driving the future of the automotive industry Working in collaboration with global vehicle manufacturers and suppliers, HORIBA MIRA is an automotive engineering, research and test consultancy with experience in developing some of the world’s most iconic vehicles. We provide comprehensive support for technology development, integration and verification, through to full-vehicle development and certification.

We’ve been around for more than 75 years and are traditionally known for our vehicle test services – with over 40 major facilities and 100km of Proving Ground – but we’re so much more than this. Over the last 10 years we’ve invested heavily in the evolution of our engineering capability and development of MIRA Technology Park, our automotive R&D cluster.

It’s an incredibly exciting time to pursue a career in automotive. The industry is undergoing change at a rapid rate and HORIBA MIRA is at the forefront, with projects supporting the development of:
  • Driverless cars
  • Battery and electric vehicles
  • Defence and military vehicles (which include our unmanned ground vehicle capabilities, cybersecurity technology development and much more).
We’re currently recruiting for a number of roles within our Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) department. HORIBA MIRA has been delivering EMC engineering excellence to the automotive industry since 1987 and have unrivalled experience with EMC testing, qualification programmes and consultancy.

With ongoing membership to all the key international standards committees, world-class vehicle and component EMC testing facilities, and extensive experience delivering global programmes and R&D in this area, including computational electromagnetics analysis, HORIBA MIRA is the trusted choice for automotive EMC.

More specifically, if you possess an electrical engineering background, good communication / interpersonal skills, the ability to work with detailed technical documentation, and are familiar with test measurement and fault finding equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, signal generators and RF receivers, we’re really keen to speak with you!
