Going Forward into Employment
These opportunities provide experience that can improve your career and help make the Civil Service more representative of the country it serves. This scheme is an opportunity to develop new skills, work across teams and serve the public all at the same time.
Opportunities provide fixed term employment for up to 24 months, of which some positions could be made permanent.
Eligibilty
You could be eligible for one of our upcoming opportunities if you’ve been out of the Armed Forces for less than 5 years and are struggling to secure employment, or if you’ve been medically discharged from the Armed Forces within the past 10 years.
You could also be eligible if you’re a Military Spouse/Partner of someone still serving, or who has left the Armed Forces within the last 5 years, and haven’t been able to establish a career for yourself as a result of ongoing commitments to your partner.
