What can you expect?
Our transition programme starts in September/October and provides all the training and support needed to embark on a career in Construction Management. This includes:
- On-site learning to develop technical skills and industry knowledge
- NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision
- Development modules covering everything from foundations to customer demonstrations
- Online learning to develop an understanding of best practice
- Matrix of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) training
- Rotations in other departments
- Simulation Centre
- Connections with people who have been on a similar journey
At the end of the 12-month programme (if not before), we’d expect you to become a fully qualified Assistant Site Manager. From there, Barratt will continue to support your ongoing development and enable continued career enhancement.
