The Royal Air Forces Association is a member-led welfare charity that exists to ensure all members of the RAF family are supported in times of need. Whether it’s an injured airman fighting to get back on his feet, a young child missing their parent away on overseas operations, or a World War II veteran needing a shoulder to lean on, we are here to help all generations of RAF Service personnel and their families.
With over 400 branches all across the world serving some 74,000 members, no RAF Association member is ever far away from friends. Our branches are meeting places where members get together every month, they are places where local welfare advice is given, and they provide a useful base for fundraising activity.
Branches across the Norfolk and Suffolk areas are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to offer a little of their time to help support branch activities in the area. As part of a supportive and committed community within the branch, and with a variety of roles available, this is a varied and rewarding opportunity to play a key role in helping the RAF Association deliver valuable support to members of the RAF Family.
