JTI is a member of the Japan Tobacco Group, a leading international tobacco and e-cigarette manufacturer, with operations in over 120 countries employing 45,000 employees.
JTI believe it is important to contribute to the communities of their employees and their families, and their customers. They celebrate diversity and value the number of transferable skills individuals leaving the armed forces can offer the business.
Since signing the Armed Forces Covenant in April 2018, JTI have worked in close partnership with
Mission Motorsport in arranging work placements, holding careers inspiration days and CV workshops and celebrating Armed Forces Day. In addition, employees have spent time volunteering through Mission Motorsport and other military partners, making a positive impact on all the beneficiaries.
JTI are incredibly proud of their achievement of the Silver Award, which recognises their commitment and support to the Armed Forces community, especially considering their journey only started last year.
The company also recognises that none of this could have been achieved without the commitment and contribution of both their military partners and their employees.
